Risk Disclosure

Last updated:

Please read this Risk Disclosure carefully before using PocketNode, investing, or acquiring PNODE tokens. Participation in the platform involves real financial and operational risks. This disclosure does not constitute financial advice.

1. General Risk Warning

PocketNode operates as a peer-to-peer computing marketplace that incorporates digital tokens (PNODE), referral-based revenue sharing, and investor participation mechanisms. These activities carry inherent financial, technical, regulatory, and operational risks. You may lose some or all funds or assets associated with your participation.

Do not participate with funds you cannot afford to lose. Seek independent financial, legal, and tax advice before making investment decisions.

2. Token and Digital Asset Risks

2.1 Volatility

PNODE token values can fluctuate significantly in short periods. Historical performance does not guarantee future results. Token value may decrease to zero.

2.2 Liquidity Risk

There may be limited market liquidity for PNODE tokens at any given time. You may be unable to sell or convert tokens at your desired price or time.

2.3 Smart Contract Risk

PNODE is an ERC-20 compatible token deployed on BNB Smart Chain (BSC). Smart contracts may contain unforeseen bugs or vulnerabilities. While contracts undergo review, no guarantee of perfect security exists. Blockchain transactions are irreversible.

2.4 Blockchain Network Risk

BNB Smart Chain and its validators may experience outages, forks, congestion, or protocol changes that could affect token transfers or platform operations beyond PocketNode's control.

2.5 No Guaranteed Returns

Earning estimates, referral income projections, and investment return illustrations shown on this website are illustrative only. Actual results depend on network demand, user activity, market conditions, and other factors that cannot be predicted. PocketNode does not guarantee any specific earnings or returns.

3. Investment Risks

3.1 Investor Share Mechanism

PocketNode's investor roles involve acquiring revenue-share positions in the platform. These are not regulated securities, bonds, or financial instruments under most jurisdictions. The value of investor positions is tied to platform performance, which is not guaranteed.

3.2 Revenue Share Variability

Revenue sharing is based on platform transaction volume. If platform revenue decreases, investor distributions decrease proportionally. Distribution may be suspended if platform operations are disrupted.

3.3 Lock-up and Liquidity

Investor positions may be subject to lock-up periods or limited secondary market options. You should not invest funds you may need to access on short notice.

3.4 Dilution Risk

New investors or token issuances may dilute existing positions. PocketNode may modify economic parameters of the platform as the ecosystem evolves.

4. Regulatory and Legal Risks

4.1 Regulatory Uncertainty

The regulatory landscape for P2P computing networks, digital tokens, and revenue-sharing platforms varies significantly across jurisdictions and is rapidly evolving. Future regulations could restrict, tax, or prohibit certain PocketNode activities in your jurisdiction.

4.2 Geographic Restrictions

PocketNode may be unavailable or restricted in certain countries. It is your responsibility to ensure participation is lawful in your jurisdiction. We reserve the right to restrict access in jurisdictions where compliance is not feasible.

4.3 Tax Obligations

Earnings, token receipts, and gains from PocketNode may be taxable in your jurisdiction. PocketNode does not provide tax advice. You are solely responsible for understanding and meeting your tax obligations.

5. Platform and Operational Risks

5.1 Platform Downtime

PocketNode's systems may experience downtime, maintenance windows, or unexpected outages. During such periods, earnings generation, withdrawals, and other services may be temporarily unavailable.

5.2 Provider Performance Risk

The quality and availability of computing resources on the network depends on active Provider users. If Providers go offline, customer compute tasks may be interrupted and associated earnings may be affected.

5.3 Security Risk

While PocketNode employs industry-standard security practices, no system is entirely immune to cyberattacks, data breaches, or technical failures. In the event of a security incident, user funds or data could be at risk.

5.4 Third-Party Risk

PocketNode relies on third-party infrastructure providers (cloud hosting, Cloudflare, BSC network, etc.). Failures or changes in these services may affect platform availability.

6. Referral and Earning Risks

6.1 Referral Income Variability

Referral commissions depend on the activity of referred users. If referred users become inactive, referral income decreases. Multi-level referral structures may be modified over time.

6.2 Abuse and Fraud Prevention

PocketNode employs fraud detection systems. Accounts found in violation of Terms of Service (including artificial referral manipulation) may be suspended and associated earnings forfeited.

7. Not Financial Advice

Nothing on this website or within the PocketNode application constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. All content is informational only. PocketNode is not a licensed financial adviser, broker, or investment manager in any jurisdiction.

Projected earnings, return rates, and investor yield figures are forward-looking statements subject to significant uncertainty and should not be relied upon as predictions of actual outcomes.

8. Acceptance of Risk

By using PocketNode's services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these risks, that you are participating voluntarily, and that you bear sole responsibility for your decisions and outcomes.
